El surfista costarricense Carlos Muñoz, rider de Volcom, se metió en la quinta ronda del Vans Us Open of Surfing 2016, evento QS 10.000 de la World Surf League. Mañana irá en búsqueda de los cuartos de final ante el tahitiano Michel Bourez. Cali es una de las esperanzas latinas para llegar al CT y vuelve luego de estar unos meses sin competir, sin dudas un buen resultado en este evento lo deja bien parado para la segunda mitad de año.
